VK has opened paid internships for novice game developers
VK's gaming unit VK Play has opened paid internships. A company representative told RB.RU that there are internships available in three fields: game analytics, game design and adaptation of game content.
The internships are paid and will last six months. The best students will be invited to join the IT corporation's game studios.
Interns will both learn to create large-scale and complex game projects and get a chance to participate in project development. VK promises to provide students with real-life practical tasks that the company's gaming unit experts solve daily.
Mentors will help and manage the interns, introducing them to the most popular technologies and gaming industry trends. Internship requirements depend on the field. However, "passion for games, extensive video-game experience and understanding of game mechanics" will be a significant advantage, the VK announcement says.
