Born in Moscow in 1965. In 1987 graduated from the Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO), Master of International Relations. In 1996 graduated from the Financial Academy at the Government of Russia, Master of Banking and Insurance.
At various times he has occupied positions of Head of Division, Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the RF in Italy, Deputy Permanent Representative of the RF to FAO and other UN Agencies in Rome, Acting Permanent Representative of the RF to FAO and other UN Agencies in Rome.
December 2015 – till now – Director, UN Information Centre in Moscow
Holds a diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the 1st Class. Holds Ph.D degree in General History.
