Youth RIGF will present an award to the best IT projects in several nominations:
- Best Youth IT Startup Projects launched no earlier than 2019 and aimed at a youth audience can be nominated. The main assessment criteria are the applicable nature of the project and the potential for upscaling to an international level.
- Educational IT Project of the Year Educational projects hosted on any platform can apply, the main purpose of which is to educate the audience about the IT sphere, digitalization and digital economy. The main assessment criteria are coverage, quality of coverage of digital transformation trends, IT business and popularization of the IT profession among the young people.
- Best Student IT Project This nomination is for those who do not yet have a fully launched business, but who already have a business project. Priority will be given to student ideas. The main assessment criteria are a potential and scale of implementation of the declared project. The winner will have the opportunity to cooperate with one of the Forum's partner companies for a full launch.
- Women IT Leadership This nomination will be given to the female leaders of the IT community. Today women are actively pursuing careers in the field of information technology, and that makes positive changes to the entire industry. Celebrating their achievements means inspiring other women to reach the career heights in the IT sphere, thereby ensuring the inclusiveness of the profession. The main assessment criteria for this award are the product's recognition in the IT solutions market by women under 30 who have launched successful projects / businesses or built their own brand.
- Best IT Blogger of the Year This nomination will be awarded to a young popular Russian blogger. The interest of audience and content by bloggers will be assessed, first of all, among young people from the IT sphere in any of social media.
A separate prize will be awarded to international projects that have made the greatest contribution to the development of digital platforms in 2020. They will compete in the
International IT Award Nomination. The criteria for assessment are: the uniqueness of digital solutions and the potential for projetcs upscaling to Russia. If you are the creator of a project that wants to enter the Russian market, then this award is an excellent opportunity to prove yourself and start your promotion campaign. Due to the epidemiological situation and the partial closure of borders, the winners of this particular nomination will be awarded remotely.
The award ceremony will take place at the Youth RIGF on 6 April in Skoltech University.
